Check each Nevada pro against the state licence register

For contractor marketplaces, home-service platforms and contractor software.

A marketplace that lists a Nevada contractor needs to know that the licence is active, which trades it covers and how large a job it allows. Puller holds the Nevada State Contractors Board register and matches permits to it. Of the 115,257 Nevada permits issued in the 365 days before , 77% carry a matched licence.

Look a contractor up by licence number or business name when they sign up. The answer gives the licence status, classifications, dollar limit, expiry and the date of the latest board action. The permits the licence pulled show how much work it does, and where.

How their system uses the API

Contractor check

Look up the licence number or business name when a pro signs up, and repeat the lookup on a schedule you choose.

Example request

curl "https://api.pullerdata.com/v1/contractors?license_number=79413&board=nscb" \
  -H "x-api-key: YOUR_KEY"

Finds a Nevada licence by number; a number of up to six digits also matches its seven-digit form, so 79413 finds 0079413. Each match has an id, and /v1/contractors/{id} returns that licence with its permit totals and the board's actions against it.

Read the API reference or request a key.

Questions

Can I check a Nevada contractor's licence by API?

Yes. Puller holds the Nevada State Contractors Board register and serves each licence's status, classifications, dollar limit and board actions, with the permits it pulled. Search /v1/contractors by licence number or name, or start from a permit: each matched permit carries the licence id, so its contractor is one more call away.
